Our story is inspired by ikigai.

In Japanese culture, the word ikigai 生き甲斐 represents a broad concept meaning "life purpose" or "a reason for being." ikifi is a full-service bookkeeping agency inspired by this philosophy. Infusing a meaningful twist to financial services.

Step 1. Discovery Session

Our journey together begins with a complimentary 45-minute introductory video call. In this session, we take the time to get acquainted, understand your goals, and explore your high-level financial information.

2. Free Diagnositc Review

If we both feel a strong connection, the next step is to request access to your financial accounting system and begin our free (yes, really free!) diagnostic review—followed by a tailored proposal.

3. Personalized Proposal

During a 30-minute follow-up call, we’ll walk you through the diagnostic review and proposal. If you’re ready to move forward, great! If not, no worries—we’ll still provide the diagnostic review as a resource to help you tackle your books on your own.

4. Catchup OR Cleanup

It’s extremely rare (and we mean rare) that the books are in good order when we first get our hands on them. So, the first step in our engagement is to clean up the past and get everything in order.

5. Integrate Your Systems

After everything is squeaky clean, we’ll integrate all of your financial software and applications with your accounting system. This creates a seamless foundation for ongoing bookkeeping and financial management.

Hey! My name is Jordan Weinstein. I believe money is the most powerful tool on earth. But like any tool, it can be used in empowering or destructive ways. ikifi was started in 2021 from my deep passion for financial education and entrepreneurship. I love helping others use money intentionally, and create incredible opportunities from implementing proactive financial systems & practices.

In my spare time I love cooking (eating), traveling, playing tennis, journaling & reading philosophy!

What is the biggest difference between "basic" & "premium" plans?

The biggest difference is service frequency and responsiveness. Our Premium plan offers more frequent bookkeeping touchpoints, faster report delivery, and higher-level support access compared to our Simple plan, which is designed for agencies with more straightforward needs.

How is my financial information secure?

All of our clients’ financial data access points are protected with AES-256 encryption (bank-grade security). This ensures we have view-only access to your financial data in a secure and compliant way. We do use trusted third-party software, like QuickBooks and Dropbox, which have their own robust security protocols as well.

Do you offer tax filing services?

We offer 1099 filing services, but not personal or business tax returns—at least not yet. Our goal is to begin offering full tax services by 2026 under the IRS Enrolled Agent designation.

Bookkeeping vs Accounting?

Bookkeeping is the engine behind accounting, the micro to the macro. Without excellent bookkeeping, there can be no meaningful accounting. That’s why we focus on it. Strong bookkeeping unlocks strategic insights and empowers long-term financial planning.
